The Writer of the Portal Series, Erik Wolpaw is trying to get Valve to make Portal 3 but urges that it is up to fans to get it made. In a recent interview on the Kiwi Talkz Podcast, Wolpaw discussed his previous work on previous Valve games such as Portal 1 & 2. When the interview was almost over, he added “We gotta start Portal 3. That’s my message… to whoever.” Wolpaw added, “I am not getting any younger. It’s getting to the point where I am getting too old to work on Portal 3. So we should just do it. We can’t wait any longer”. He then pointed out the success of the Portal Tech Demo, called APERTURE DESK JOB that recently appeared on Valve’s handheld device, the Steam Deck, and that if fans wanted a Portal 3, they should mail Gabe Newell, CEO of Valve. Whilst it’s up to the fans to get it made, Valve is really busy at the moment with the recent launch of the Steam Deck, other hardware such as VR, and of course, their widely successful video game platform, Steam.
But what do you think? If Portal 3 was made, would you buy it? Sound off in the comment section below!
